Every day at Tom’s Hardware, they have the privilege of testing the latest gear and the responsibility of accurately sharing their findings with the readers.
To recognize the real game changing products and the companies behind them, they have launched the first-annual Tom’s Hardware Innovation Awards.
They believe that each disrupt the market in some way and set a standard that others may follow. What they can say for all of the gear-below is that it breaks out of the box in ways likely to shape the tech industry’s future.
Among them, Creality CR-30 3D Printer-Endless printing with a conveyor beltwas pulled into this list.
The $1,049 Creality CR-30 (also referred to as Naomi Wu’s 3DPrintMill) is a game-changing 3D printer that offers many unique features not typically found on consumer machines. Instead of printing on a build platform with a fixed area, the CR-30 prints on a conveyor belt that allows the machine to print parts in a serial fashion, ideal for production parts. This unique conveyor belt system also allows for a theoretically infinite print length, and Creality has demonstrated that the printer will keep printing as long as you keep it supplied with filament.
“Set it and forget it,” is the ideal situation for any maker who wants to output a detailed 3D print, because detailed models can take 20+ hours to complete and even small tools can eat up 5 or 6 hours. But what happens when you need to print a lot of 3D parts and can’t pop into your office several times a day to pull a completed item off of the bed and start the next one?
Creality’s CR-30 uses a conveyor belt to keep the printing going even when you’re not around to supervise. You can even print really long parts that wouldn’t fit on a normal print bed.
As the CR-30 prints one item, its textured belt carries it away so the next workload can begin. In our tests, the printer spit out 10 different parts in 15 and a half hours, without any errors.

As a printer of the second Creality crowd-funding activity on Kickstarter, it broke the traditional model 3D printer.
However, What is the features of the CR-30 3D printer?
1. Core-XY structure stable printing with high precision
The stable and sturdy core-xy precision structure with isosceles right triangle support gives you an extraordinary printing experience.
2. 200-hour continuous operation and stable printing, ensures print model timely.
High-quality dual-gear metal extruder, combined with the 45 degree slanting nozzle turns more than 200 hours of continuous printing into reality.
3. Filament sensor & resume printing data accuracy guarantee.
Designed with filament sensor, printing will be automatically resumed after the new filament feed-in, and intelligent resume printing function will keep your printing data safe under power failure.
4. Batch print models enhanced efficiency
CR-30 is a revolutionary creative product, which breaks through the traditional gantry structure. It can easily achieve batch print with a desktop size.
5. Infinite z-axis for long model printing. No limit for the wonderfulness
Made of wear-resistant material, the conveyor belt features excellent adhesion to the model can fall off automatically as the belt rolls to the end, thus free your hand.
