The Ender family is growing again. Creality has introduced two new Ender-3 V3 models for makers with very different ambitions: the Ender-3 V3 Neo and the Ender-3 V3 Mega.

The Neo brings smarter, beginner-friendly printing into a compact desktop format, while the Mega gives creators a much larger workspace for oversized models, flexible materials and batch printing.

They may share the Ender name, but each opens up a different way to create. Let's take a closer look at what these two new 3D printers bring to the Ender family.

Meet the New Ender-3 V3 Neo and Mega

How Do the New Neo and Mega Evolve the Ender-3 V3/SE/KE?

The Ender-3 V3 Neo and Mega are not simply faster replacements for the original Ender-3 V3. Instead, they expand the V3 family in new directions, with a stronger focus on multicolour printing, flexible materials, smarter filament management and easier everyday use.

The original Ender-3 V3 put high-speed performance at the centre of the experience with its CoreXZ motion system and printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s. Neo and Mega build on the Ender platform differently, bringing new capabilities to different types of makers.

1. Easier Multicolour Printing with CFS nano

One of the biggest changes is native support for the CFS nano multicolour ecosystem.

Both the Ender-3 V3 Neo and Mega can be paired with CFS nano for automatic four-colour printing, reducing the need for repeated manual filament changes.

Compatible Creality RFID filament can also be recognised automatically, while filament monitoring and automatic refill features help make longer multicolour projects easier to manage.

This marks an important evolution for the Ender-3 V3 family: the focus is no longer only on printing faster, but also on making multicolour creation more accessible.

2. Sprite 2 Extrusion for More Flexible Materials

Sprite 2 Extrusion

Neo and Mega introduce the newer Sprite 2 direct-drive extrusion system, with greater emphasis on stable filament feeding and flexible-material printing.

The Ender-3 V3 Neo supports 90A–95A TPU, while the Ender-3 V3 Mega extends that range to softer 85A–95A TPU.

This opens up more applications such as flexible accessories, protective parts, wearables, cushioning components and functional prototypes.

3. Automation Goes Beyond Bed Levelling

Automatic calibration was already an important feature of the Ender-3 V3, but Neo and Mega extend automation further into the printing workflow.

Features such as filament tangle detection, automatic filament refill, connected monitoring and CFS nano filament management help reduce the amount of manual supervision required during longer prints.

The Neo also includes a built-in camera for remote monitoring, making it particularly convenient for everyday home and desktop use.

4. Easier Everyday Maintenance

The new models continue the Ender focus on quick nozzle maintenance while making routine upkeep more straightforward.

Tool-free quick-swap nozzle designs make it easier to remove, clean or replace the nozzle, while automatic levelling reduces the need for frequent manual bed adjustments.

These changes may not increase headline printing speed, but they make the printer easier to live with over time — especially for newer users.

5. From Compact Desktop Printing to Large-Format Production

The biggest expansion comes with the Ender-3 V3 Mega.

While the original Ender-3 V3 uses a 220 × 220 × 250 mm build area, the Mega increases this to 420 × 420 × 420 mm, giving makers far more room for large models, cosplay props, functional prototypes and batch printing.

Its reinforced frame, dual-motor motion system and 81-point automatic levelling are designed around the demands of a much larger moving platform.

The Neo takes the opposite approach. Rather than increasing size, it keeps a compact 220 × 220 × 220 mm format while making newer Ender features such as multicolour printing, monitoring and automatic filament management more accessible to beginners.

In short, the Ender-3 V3 Neo and Mega do not simply replace the original V3. They broaden the family: Neo makes modern Ender printing easier and more multicolour-friendly, while Mega expands it into large-format and flexible-material applications.

Ender-3 V3 Neo: Your First Desktop Maker Studio

Ender-3 V3 Neo

The Ender-3 V3 Neo is designed to make everyday 3D printing easier to get into.

With a 220 × 220 × 220 mm build volume, it stays compact enough for a desk while offering plenty of room for household projects, toys, organisers, decorations and functional parts.

But the new Neo is not simply about keeping things small. It combines faster printing with more automation, helping new users spend less time adjusting the machine and more time making things.

Fast Printing Without the Complicated Setup

The Ender-3 V3 Neo can print at speeds of up to 500 mm/s. Automatic bed levelling and vibration compensation simplify preparation while helping maintain more consistent results at higher speeds.

A built-in camera also makes it easier to check print progress remotely, while filament tangle detection can pause a job if feeding problems occur.

Take Your First Step into Multicolour Printing

The Neo is also available as a Combo with CFS nano, enabling automatic printing with up to four colours.

That makes it easier to create colourful figures, signs, decorations and personalised projects without repeatedly changing filament by hand.

For makers who want a compact first printer but do not want to be limited to basic single-colour projects, the Neo offers plenty of room to explore.

Ender-3 V3 Mega: Bigger Ideas Need More Room

Ender-3 V3 Mega

The Ender-3 V3 Mega takes the Ender platform in another direction entirely.

Its defining feature is a huge 420 × 420 × 420 mm build volume, giving creators substantially more room for projects that simply do not fit comfortably on a conventional desktop printer.

Think cosplay props, large household parts, prototypes, display models or several smaller components printed together on the same build plate.

Print Large Models with Fewer Parts

Large models often need to be divided into several pieces on a smaller printer. That means more slicing decisions, more separate print jobs and more assembly afterwards.

The Mega's larger workspace allows many projects to be printed in fewer sections — or, depending on the model, as a single piece.

For makers regularly working on larger designs, that extra build space can make a significant difference to the entire workflow.

Made for Flexible Ideas Too

The Mega is not only about size. Its Sprite 2 direct-drive extrusion system supports flexible 85A–95A TPU, expanding the range of functional and creative projects you can make.

This is particularly useful for flexible prototypes, cushioning parts, wearable designs, footwear concepts and other objects that need to bend rather than stay rigid.

Like the Neo, the Mega can also be paired with CFS nano for four-colour printing, giving large-format projects more creative flexibility.

A Smarter Generation of Ender Printing

Although the Neo and Mega serve different project sizes, both reflect the same direction for the latest Ender generation: make more of the printing process automatic and easier to manage.

Features such as automatic levelling, filament monitoring, quick-swap nozzle designs, direct-drive extrusion and connected printing reduce many of the routine steps makers previously had to handle manually.

CFS nano compatibility also extends multicolour printing to both ends of the range — from compact desktop projects on the Neo to much larger creations on the Mega.

Two New Enders for Two Different Makers

The Ender-3 V3 Neo is built around accessibility. It is compact, easy to set up and well suited to beginners, home makers, students and everyday creative projects.

The Ender-3 V3 Mega is built around capacity. Its much larger build volume and support for softer TPU make it better suited to creators working on large models, functional parts, batch printing and ambitious flexible projects.

Rather than one replacing the other, the two printers expand the Ender range in different directions.

Find the Ender That Fits Your Projects

The arrival of the Ender-3 V3 Neo and Mega gives makers more choice within the Ender family.

If you want a compact and beginner-friendly machine for everyday printing and optional multicolour projects, the Neo is designed to be an easy place to start.

If your ideas regularly outgrow a standard desktop build plate, the Mega gives you the space and material flexibility to take on much larger projects.
