Lifetime Customer SupportMinimal Waste. Neat State.
Filament waste is collected through an external route.
External Cutter & Buffer
Easy upgrade to multicolor to earlier models with a firmware update without radical hardware modification. The external cutter & buffer is simple to install.
Filament Run-out /Tangle Detection
Built-in sensors monitor each filament spool and automatically pause printing if any issue occurs.
Cutter Wear Monitoring
CFS-C tracks cutter wear in real time and alerts you once it reaches the preset threshold for replacement.
No Filament Purges
No purging needed. No filament debris inside the printer-keeping your 3D printer neat and tidy.
Auto Filament Identification
Using Creality RFID filaments, CFS-C auto-reads filament info and presets—no manual setup needed.
Auto Color Mapping
For multicolor printing, if a spool runs out, CFS-C will automatically relay printing with another filament of the same material type and color.
Compatible for K1 Series
- Both are identical in physical structure and appearance;
- CFS-C has modified the communication chip based on CFS, which can improve anti-interference capability during direct printing. (Note: Direct printing refers to connecting the printer directly to a computer or phone for printing via USB cable or wireless network (Wi-Fi Direct), rather than connecting through network devices like routers.)
- During filament replacement process, CFS is equipped with an internal cutter to cut off the old filament, then melts and extrudes the filament in the heat break through heating; CFS-C is equipped with a self-developed external cutter, which retracts the old filament from the extruder after technical parameter adjustment, cuts off the originally melted end to complete filament replacement, aiming to save the purging step and centralize waste collection.
The communication chips between them are different, and there are differences in communication protocols with the printer. Therefore, CFS and CFS-C cannot be used compatibly at the same time.
CFS-C refers to a filament management system composed of main components including multi-color box, cutter buffer, communication module, filament break detector module and other related parts, with model designation CFS-C and named as CFS-C Filament Management System.
CFS-C supports the following printer models:K1C2025、K1MAX2025、K1C、K1Max、K1、K1SE
The open-source timeline is not yet determined. However, once the technology is open-sourced, community developers can adapt third-party printers based on official resources, bringing multi-color printing technology to benefit the 3D printing community. Please stay tuned for community updates.
