Creality K1 Max Mainboard Replacement

1. Power Down and Disconnect

Ensure the machine is turned off, and unplug the power cord for safety.

2. Remove Foot Pads and Securing Screws

Utilize the provided hex wrench to remove four-foot pads and two securing screws.

3. Detach Mainboard Fan Cable and Remove Cover

Carefully disconnect the mainboard fan cable and remove the cover. Exercise caution to avoid pulling on the fan cable and handle it delicately to prevent damage.

4. Disconnect Wires and Remove Screws

Disconnect all wires on the mainboard and remove the four screws securing it.

5. Replace with New Mainboard

Take out the faulty mainboard and replace it with the new one. Secure the new mainboard by tightening the four screws.

6. Wiring Connection

Refer to the wiring diagram provided for seamless connection of wires.

7. Reattach Mainboard Fan Connector and Install Bottom Cover

Plug in the mainboard fan connector and carefully install the bottom cover, ensuring proper routing of the mainboard fan cable.

8. Secure Bottom Cover and Reinstall Foot Pads

Tighten the two screws to secure the bottom cover, and then reinstall the four-foot pads.

9. Power Up and Inspect

Plug in the power cord and turn on the machine for a thorough inspection, ensuring the successful replacement of the mainboard.
