Creality K1 Max Motherboard Fan Replacement



Is your Creality K1 Max's motherboard fan acting up or sounding noisy? Follow these simple steps to replace the motherboard fan and maintain the ideal operating temperature for your 3D printer.

1. Power Down and Disconnect

Ensure the machine is powered off, and disconnect the power cord for safety.

2. Remove Foot Pads and Securing Screws

Utilize the provided hex wrench to dismantle four-foot pads and two securing screws.

3. Disconnect Motherboard Fan Cable and Remove Cover

Carefully unplug the motherboard fan cable and remove the cover. Take caution not to pull or strain the fan cable during this step.

4. Unscrew and Remove the Old Motherboard Fan

Unscrew the three fixing screws securing the motherboard fan and take out the old fan.

5. Install the New Motherboard Fan

Place the new motherboard fan into position and secure it by tightening the three screws. Pay attention to the correct orientation of the fan and the placement of the three screws to prevent foreign objects from entering the fan.

6. Connect Motherboard Fan Terminal and Attach Bottom Cover

Plug in the motherboard fan terminal, and secure the bottom cover. Ensure proper routing of the motherboard fan cable.

7. Tighten Screws to Secure Bottom Cover

Secure the bottom cover by tightening the two screws, then reinstall the four-foot pads.
