How to Load Filament K1 Max
Two methods are the following: manual loading and semi-automatic extruding.
1. Manual Loading
① Unlock the extruder, pull out the Teflon tube, feed from the outside until it passes through the Teflon tube;
② Heat the nozzle to 200°C on the machine screen and insert the filament from top to bottom;
③ Push the filament until it flow out of the nozzle;
④ Lock the extrusion switch, restore the Teflon tube, and cool the nozzle.
2. Semi-automatic Extruding (Creality Recommended)
① Open the motor cover and unlock the extruder
② Insert filament until it cannot be pushed
③ Lock extruder switch
④ Click Extrude on the screen, observe the nozzle, if the filament has been squeezed out, wait for "Extruding Finish", if it has not squeezed out, lightly push the filament forward and click "Extrude"
How to Unload Filament K1 Max
Two methods of manual retracting and automatic retracting are below.
1. Manual Retracting
① Heat the nozzle to 200°C on the screen
② Unlock the extruder, pull out the filament and Teflon tubes
2. Automatic Retracting
① Click Retract on the screen and wait for the retracting finish;
② Pull out the filament from the Teflon tube
How to Change Filament K1 Max
Two ways to replace filament when it runs out.
1. Purely Manual
① No filament detected, click Replacing filament
② Heat the nozzle to 200°C
③ Unlock the extruder, pull out the filament and Teflon tubes
④ Completely remove the filament from the Teflon tube
⑤ Insert filament from the outside until they come out of the Teflon tube, and insert filament from top to bottom until filament flow out of the nozzle
⑥ Lock the extrusion switch, restore the Teflon tube, and click Restore Printing
2. Semi-automatic (Creality Recommended)
① No filament detected, click Replacing filament
② Unlock the extruder, pull out the filament and Teflon tubes
③ Completely remove the filament from the Teflon tube (waste).
④ Restore the Teflon tube and unlock the extrusion
⑤ Insert filament until they are coming out from the Teflon tube, and lock the extrusion switch until it cannot be pushed
⑥ Click Extrude on the screen, observe the nozzle, if the filament have been extruded, wait for "Extruding finish", if they are not extruded, lightly push the filament forward and click "Extrude", and clean the nozzle after Finishing extruding
⑦ Click Resume Printing
