Equipment Related FAQs What is the maximum working area?

The maximum working area is 1358mm × 268mm .

What type of laser does it use?

Standard : 20W blue semiconductor laser, 455±5nm wavelength, ~0.08×0.10mm spot size.

Optional : 2W infrared solid-state laser, 1064±1nm wavelength, ~0.03×0.03mm spot size.

What happens if power is lost during operation?

The machine will stop where it is. After restarting, it will reinitialize but not resume the interrupted task.

Why is engraving too shallow or not visible?

Ensure the image is clear. Focus the laser properly. Adjust power, speed, and number of passes. Will the laser damage the workbench?

Yes, especially with thin materials like paper. Use a metal or honeycomb plate underneath to protect the surface.

Why does the light strip turn off during autofocusing?

To prevent interference with the red-dot ranging system, the lighting is dimmed automatically and resumes after autofocus.

What if the device doesn't power on?

Check power plug and socket. Turn on power and safety switches. Ensure emergency stop is not engaged. Do I need to wear goggles?

Despite the safety covers, it’s recommended to wear goggles during operation for additional protection.

What are the effects of a loose timing belt?

Engraving will be deformed or misaligned (e.g., circles appear as ellipses).

Usage-Related FAQs What materials can it engrave or cut?

Blue Light Laser:

Engraving: wood, bamboo, rubber, leather, acrylic, painted metal, plastic. Cutting: cardboard, wood, bamboo, leather, fabric (not transparent acrylic). Infrared Laser (optional):

Engraving: metals (gold, silver, brass, aluminum, etc.), ceramics, stone.

Can it engrave on curved surfaces?

Yes, but only slight curvatures to avoid distortion.

Can it engrave reflective/transparent materials?

Avoid direct engraving on mirrors or glass. Use anti-reflective coating first to prevent laser damage and improve results.

Why does material color affect engraving?

Different colors absorb laser energy differently. Adjust power and speed for optimal results.

How to reduce black ash after cutting?

Reduce laser power Increase speed Turn on strong air assist Why isn’t the material cut through?

Check:

Why doesn’t the laser emit light?

Why does the touchscreen shake?

Why is autofocus inaccurate?

There are 2 type -C interfaces on the right side of the device. The left one is anexpansion interface for connecting a USB flash drive or other accessories, and the right one is an interface for connecting to a PC host. Please ensure that the socket iscorrect.
