Precautions for use of HALOT-MAGE/HALOT-MAGE PRO

The Halot Mage and Halot Mage Pro resin 3D printers are widely used in fields such as model-making, education, and product development. Known for their high precision, these printers deliver exceptional print quality and come with a range of smart features.

However, to ensure safety, stable performance, and optimal print quality during use, users need to pay close attention to a number of important factors, including operational guidelines, equipment maintenance, environmental conditions, and print parameter settings.

This article will provide a detailed overview of the key points to keep in mind when using Halot Mage series printers, helping users maximize performance and extend the lifespan of their machines. Check these products specifications first.

Precautions for use of HALOT-MAGE/HALOT-MAGE PRO Operational Guidelines: Resin Feeding & Unloading 1. After the HALOT-MAGE PRO feed system has finished printing, wipe the nozzle before removing the tray to prevent residual resin in the nozzle from dripping onto the print screen after the tray is removed.

2. Before loading, make sure there is enough resin in the resin tank to avoid running out of material when the automatic loading system starts during printing. When removing material, make sure that the capacity of the resin tank is sufficient to hold the remaining resin in the tray to prevent overflow during removal.

3. Because there is a certain distance between the nozzle and the bottom of the tray. Therefore, the material is not returned cleanly when the material is extracted. At this time, the plastic scoop provided in the accessory package can be used to scrape the remaining resin in the trough to the side of the nozzle so that the nozzle can withdraw the material as cleanly as possible.

4. After dispensing is complete, the machine is temporarily out of use. Use a safe container to fill with a certain amount of alcohol. Place it on the feed tube. By repeatedly feeding and withdrawing material, manually clean the residual resin in the material tube and motor pump to prevent the resin from solidifying and blocking the tube at the next use.

5. Before starting to print in the automatic feed mode, you must manually feed the material to make sure that the bottom of the tray is covered with a certain amount of resin (because the platform drops very quickly when printing starts, if there is not a certain amount of resin in the tray, the resin fed automatically will not cover the bottom of the tray when the model starts to print, resulting in the first few layers of the model not being cured, and eventually causing the model not to stick to the platform or not to be pulled), and then start the automatic feed mode to print the model.

6. If the customer does not want the material to be automatically returned after printing the model when using the Auto Feed mode, and wants to continue printing. You can set the return delay time to 0 so that the system does not automatically return the material after the model is printed.

Pictor Film Usage Tips Pictor Film -High Speed Release Film compatible with Halot-Mage/ Halot-Mage Pro and other 10-inch products

1. Due to the softness of the high-speed release film, it is recommended to clean the print screen after each print to prevent any residual material in the resin tank from causing the release film to rupture or damaging the print screen. Additionally, because this film is relatively thick, it is advisable to use a leveling card or two A4 sheets for the leveling process.

2. When installing the Pictor Film, it is important to distinguish between the front and back. The smooth side should face the build platform, while the matte side should face the print screen or light source.

3. The matte surface of the pictor film has a textured feel. When printing industrial-grade components with a smooth surface, slight vertical stripes may appear. However, when printing figurine models, this film can enhance the surface texture, making the models look more realistic and vivid.

Printing Parameter Settings 1. In standard mode, the HALOT-MAGE PRO can use high-speed resin and high-speed film; however, in high-speed mode, it must only use high-speed resin , high-precision resin , and high-speed film in combination.

2. The HALOT-MAGE only supports USB drive printing and does not support WiFi/network printing or the Chuangxiang Cloud feature. Additionally, it is not compatible with the HALOT-MAGE PRO motherboard.

3. If the motor does not move during the leveling or zeroing process of the HALOT-MAGE PRO, it is recommended that the user first try restarting the device. The motor has a self-protection feature that prevents movement when it encounters resistance. If restarting does not resolve the issue, further analysis of other potential causes should be conducted.

After-sales service：Equipment Maintenance 1. In the event of a return issue with the Halot-Mage Pro, users must return the physical key card, release film, and other components, as these are all high-value parts.

2. Both the HALOT-MAGE PRO and HALOT-MAGE utilize T-type lead screws (which are relatively long and slender; due to performance differences, the models of T-type lead screws vary and cannot be interchanged), so some slight wobbling may occur. This is normal as long as it does not affect the printing quality. The later shipments of the HALOT-MAGE have improved the structure by adding a profile cover and bearings to stabilize the top lead screw and reduce wobbling.
