User Case 1: Using Scanning to Bring the Family Together Scanner: Ferret Pro | Printer: CR-10 A heartwarming journey from a French user—six years ago, he started a small project with the goal of bringing his family members, scattered across France and England, “back together” using 3D technology.

Initially, he used photogrammetry for modeling, then tried the Creality CR-01 scanner, and now he’s using the Ferret Pro. His goal was to create 3D busts of each family member and print them into physical models.

With the upgrade in equipment, he began re-scanning the old models using the Ferret Pro + phone, achieving a significant improvement in quality with more detailed and vibrant results. For printing, he uses the Creality CR-10 3D printer to bring the busts to life.

“Thanks to Creality for helping me make this warm dream come true!” — Yoann Bouchard.

User Case 2: A Lasting Memory of Companionship Scanner: Otter Lite｜ Printer: Ender 3 v3 KE Karl Paul used the Otter Lite to scan a very special subject — Breeze, an elderly Husky nearing the end of her journey.

This wasn’t a typical scan. Breeze had been a beloved companion to her family for many years. The scan was a request from her family, especially for their two young daughters, to preserve not just her image, but a full, tangible memory.

While the Otter Lite handled the technical side with ease, what truly mattered was the meaning behind the scan — a way to hold on to Breeze’s presence, shape, and spirit.

At Creality, we believe 3D scanning isn’t just about capturing objects — it’s about preserving the memories that matter.

.image-row img { width: 30%; /* 3 张图，每张占 30% */ height: auto; object-fit: cover; } User Case 3: Growing a Strawberry Inside a Strawberry Scanner: Creality Raptor｜Printer: K2 Plus Sebastian used the Creality Raptor to scan a fresh strawberry and turned it into a strawberry-shaped flower pot. Today, a real strawberry plant is growing inside this 3D-printed strawberry.

The scanned model preserved the fruit’s natural texture and irregularities, giving the pot a more organic and lively feel.

In addition to the pot, Sebastian also used the K2 Plus 3D printer’s multi-color capability to create a 1:1 replica of the original strawberry, adding green details at the top for a realistic finish.

What began as a scan of an everyday fruit became a creative fusion of nature and design.

From scan to print, from observation to creation — 3D technology is bringing new life to the ordinary.

User Case 4: Restoring Broken Parts with Scanning and Printing Scanners: Ferret, Otter, Raptor｜Printers: Ender-3 V3 KE, CR-10 Andrzej makes extensive use of 3D scanning and printing in everyday life to repair and modify various objects — especially broken or missing parts from his children’s toys.

Using the Ferret, Otter, and Raptor scanners, he captures the detailed structure of the toys, then restores them with precision using his Ender-3 V3 KE and CR-10 printers. In some cases, he also creates replacement parts that are hard to find or uniquely shaped.

For Andrzej, the combination of scanning and printing has become an essential tool — a flexible, creative solution for real-life problems.

“The applications of a 3D scanner + 3D printing are simply endless. We can do almost anything.” — Andrzej

User Case 5: Precise Dashboard Retrofit with the Perfect Combination of Ferret Pro and Raptor Scanners: Creality Raptor, Creality Ferret Pro Tony Fony recently undertook a dashboard retrofit project on his VW Caddy, making full use of two Creality 3D scanners and the 3D printer.

He started by using the Raptor to capture high-resolution data of several VW/Audi air vents, then switched to the Ferret Pro for lightweight, portable scanning, perfect for capturing the complex geometry of the dashboard. After importing the scan data, Tony designed two key parts:

An adapter ring to mount the new air vent into the original dashboard A duct connector to ensure perfect airflow channel alignment These parts were then precisely printed using the 3D printer, ensuring a perfect fit. Tony said, “Without the scanners and the printer, this would have meant endless measuring and trial-and-error. Now, everything fit nearly perfectly on the first try.”

The combination of scanning and printing not only made the car retrofit more precise and efficient but also allowed the creative vision to come to life, achieving a perfect blend of function and aesthetics.

.image-row { display: flex; justify-content: space-between; /* 可改为 space-around 或 center */ }

.image-row img { width: 30%; /* 3 张图，每张占 30% */ height: auto; object-fit: cover; }

Whether it’s recreating memories, making art, repairing broken parts, or bringing ideas to life, the combination of 3D scanning and 3D printing is unlocking endless possibilities.

If you’re willing to create, anything can be captured, rebuilt, and reimagined.

Do you have something you’ve always wanted to print but never had a model for?

Now is the perfect time to take action!
